March 14-16 2014 Chicagoland Family Pet Expo!

John was at the Chicagoland Family Pet Expo in Arlington Heights Illinois. Brought to you by TowerShow Productions, thousands of people enjoyed a wide range of activities for the whole family! John performed three entertaining shows each day then was available for questions and one on one time for the kids (young and old) to hold the birds! John would like to thank Jodi from Tower Show Productions for inviting him and the flock back for another great year of fun! 

Louie is a Green Winged Macaw that has been with John Lege "That Guy With The Birds" for eleven years. Louie is a "Wild Caught Bird" and was smuggled into the US in a suit case many years ago. Louie was very aggressive and does NOT like to be touched or handled. John has worked with Louie every day for the last eleven years trying to get his trust to be handled without a perch stick. While performing at the Chicagoland Family Pet Expo, John decided to see if Louie would allow him to handle him for the first time in public. Emotions were high to say the least! Great job Louie and congratulations John, all that time and hard work has paid off!
